Hollow self-drilling anchors, also known as self-drilling anchor systems, consist of hollow threaded anchors and a drill bit that can be drilled, anchored, and grouting simultaneously during construction operations. The self-drilling bolting system is mainly used in slope stabilization, tunnel support, foundation micro-pile and other fields, and is widely used in mine tunnels, railways, subway construction and other projects.

1. Anchor Bar

The hollow bolt is the body of the group drill bolt, the outside is fully threaded, the inside is hollow, the 2 hollow bolts can be connected together by connectors for tasks that require longer anchors.

2. Drill Bit

The drill bit is the front end of the self-drilling bolting system, which can reach deeper depths by cutting and drilling holes in rock and other site structures.

3. Coupling

Coupling is also called coupling. It is a mechanical component used to firmly connect the driving shaft and the driven shaft in different mechanisms to rotate together and transmit motion and torque. Sometimes it is also used to connect shafts and other parts (such as gears, pulleys, etc.). It is often composed of two halves, which are connected by keys or tight fits, fastened to the two shaft ends, and then the two halves are connected in some way. 

4. Domed Nut

A nut is an internally threaded device that transfers the anchoring force of the hollow anchor body to the pallet and locks the pallet. One end of the nut is machined with a curved surface. If the angle is larger, you can use a hemispherical nut or add a hemispherical washer. With the hollow anchor body, it can achieve the same strength as the hollow anchor body and prevent the deformation of the rock mass.

5. Plate

As an important part of the support system, the performance of the anchor disc directly affects the support effect of the anchorage. There are several types of pallets, and the commonly used ones are round anchor pallets, square anchor pallets, butterfly anchor pallets, etc. The role of the pallet is to transfer the thrust generated by the nut locking torque to the other components to create the initial anchoring force. At the same time, the pressure of the tunnel roof is transmitted to the bolt to generate working resistance, which jointly reinforces the surrounding rock and prevents the tunnel roof from breaking.

6. Grouting Plug

Maintain the grouting pressure during the groutingprocess,so that the grout can fully fill the gap ofsurrounding rock.
